Human NR0B2 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear receptor subfamily 0 group B member 2

Also known as: SHP, SHP1

About this gene: The NR0B2 protein is an unusual orphan receptor that contains a putative ligand-binding domain but lacks a conventional DNA-binding domain. The gene product belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family, a group of transcription factors regulated by small hydrophobic hormones, a subset of which do not have known ligands and are referred to as orphan nuclear receptors. The protein is reported to interact with retinoid and thyroid hormone receptors, inhibiting their ligand-dependent transcriptional activation.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8431; HGNC ID: HGNC:7961; UniProt: Q15466; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021969.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.11

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
