SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NQO2 (N-ribosyldihydronicotinamide:quinone dehydrogenase 2, also called QR2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NQO2 qPCR Primer Set – N-ribosyldihydronicotinamide:quinone dehydrogenase 2
Also known as: DHQV, DIA6, NMOR2, QR2
About this gene: NQO2 belongs to the thioredoxin family of enzymes. The NQO2 gene product is a cytosolic and ubiquitously expressed flavoprotein that catalyzes the two-electron reduction of quinone substrates and uses dihydronicotinamide riboside as a reducing coenzyme. Mutations in NQO2 have been linked to neurodegenerative diseases and multiple cancers.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4835; HGNC ID: HGNC:7856; UniProt: P16083; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000904.6; Chromosome location: 6p25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
