SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NQO1 (NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 1, also called DTD) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NQO1 qPCR Primer Set – NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 1
Also known as: DHQU, DIA4, DTD, NMOR1, NMORI, QR1
About this gene: NQO1 belongs to the NADH dehydrogenase family and encodes a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones. This protein's enzymatic activity prevents the one electron reduction of quinones that leads to the production of radical species.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1728; HGNC ID: HGNC:2874; UniProt: P15559; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000903.3; Chromosome location: 16q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
