SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPY2R (neuropeptide Y receptor Y2, also called NPY2-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPY2R qPCR Primer Set – neuropeptide Y receptor Y2
Also known as: NPY2-R
About this gene: NPY2R enables G-protein alpha-subunit binding activity and peptide YY receptor activity. It is involved in adenylate cyclase-inhibiting G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; cardiac left ventricle morphogenesis; and outflow tract morphogenesis. Implicated in multiple diseases, including Huntington's disease; alcohol dependence; cocaine dependence; nicotine dependence; and obesity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4887; HGNC ID: HGNC:7957; UniProt: P49146; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000910.4; Chromosome location: 4q32.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
