SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPPC (natriuretic peptide C) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPPC qPCR Primer Set – natriuretic peptide C
Also known as: CNP, CNP2
About this gene: NPPC encodes a preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate multiple protein products. These products include the cardiac natriuretic peptides CNP-53, CNP-29 and CNP-22, which belong to the natriuretic family of peptides. The encoded peptides exhibit vasorelaxation activity in laboratory animals and elevated levels of CNP-22 have been observed in the plasma of chronic heart failure patients.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4880; HGNC ID: HGNC:7941; UniProt: P23582; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024409.4; Chromosome location: 2q37.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
