SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPPB (natriuretic peptide B, also called Iso-ANP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPPB qPCR Primer Set – natriuretic peptide B
Also known as: BNP, Iso-ANP
About this gene: NPPB belongs to the natriuretic peptide family and encodes a secreted protein which acts as a cardiac hormone. The protein undergoes two cleavage events, one within the cell and a second after secretion into the blood. The protein's biological actions include natriuresis, diuresis, vasorelaxation, inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion, and a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4879; HGNC ID: HGNC:7940; UniProt: P16860; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002521.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
