SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPL (N-acetylneuraminate pyruvate lyase, also called NALase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPL qPCR Primer Set – N-acetylneuraminate pyruvate lyase
Also known as: C112, C1orf13, NAL, NPL1
About this gene: NPL belongs to the N-acetylneuraminate lyase sub-family of-barrel enzymes. N-acetylneuraminate lyases regulate cellular concentrations of N-acetyl-neuraminic acid by mediating the reversible conversion of sialic acid into N-acetylmannosamine and pyruvate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80896; HGNC ID: HGNC:16781; UniProt: Q9BXD5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_030769.3; Chromosome location: 1q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
