SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPHP4 (nephrocystin 4, also called Nephroretinin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPHP4 qPCR Primer Set – nephrocystin 4
Also known as: POC10, SLSN4
About this gene: NPHP4 encodes a protein involved in renal tubular development and function. The NPHP4 protein interacts with nephrocystin, and belongs to a multifunctional complex that is localized to actin- and microtubule-based structures. Mutations in NPHP4 are linked to nephronophthisis type 4, a renal disease, and with Senior-Loken syndrome type 4, a combination of nephronophthisis and retinitis pigmentosa.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 261734; HGNC ID: HGNC:19104; UniProt: O75161; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015102.5; Chromosome location: 1p36.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
