SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NPHP1 (nephrocystin 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NPHP1 qPCR Primer Set – nephrocystin 1
Also known as: JBTS4, NPH1, SLSN1
About this gene: NPHP1 encodes a protein with src homology domain 3 patterns. Mutations in NPHP1 cause familial juvenile nephronophthisis type 1, a kidney disorder involving both tubules and glomeruli. Defects in NPHP1 are also linked to Senior-Loken syndrome type 1, also referred to as juvenile nephronophthisis with Leber amaurosis, which is characterized by kidney and eye disease, and with Joubert syndrome type 4.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4867; HGNC ID: HGNC:7905; UniProt: O15259; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001128178.3; Chromosome location: 2q13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
