SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ATF4 (activating transcription factor 4, also called TaxREB67) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ATF4 qPCR Primer Set – activating transcription factor 4
Also known as: CREB-2, CREB2, TAXREB67, TXREB
About this gene: ATF4 encodes a transcription factor that was originally identified as a widely expressed mammalian DNA binding protein that could bind a tax-responsive enhancer element in the LTR of HTLV-1. The ATF4 protein was also isolated and characterized as the cAMP-response element binding protein 2. The ATF4 protein belongs to a family of DNA-binding proteins that includes the AP-1 family of transcription factors, cAMP-response element binding proteins and CREB-like proteins.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 468; HGNC ID: HGNC:786; UniProt: P18848; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_182810.3; Chromosome location: 22q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
