About this gene: The NPC1L1 protein is a multi-pass membrane protein. The NPC1L1 gene product contains a conserved N-terminal Niemann-Pick C1 domain and a putative sterol-sensing domain which includes a YQRL motif functioning as a plasma membrane to trans-Golgi network transport signal in other proteins. The NPC1L1 protein takes up free cholesterol into cells through vesicular endocytosis and plays a critical role in the absorption of intestinal cholesterol.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
