SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NNMT qPCR Primer Set – nicotinamide N-methyltransferase
About this gene: N-methylation is one method by which drug and other xenobiotic compounds are metabolized by the liver. NNMT encodes a protein responsible for this enzymatic activity which uses S-adenosyl methionine as the methyl donor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4837; HGNC ID: HGNC:7861; UniProt: P40261; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006169.3; Chromosome location: 11q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
