SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NMT2 (N-myristoyltransferase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NMT2 qPCR Primer Set – N-myristoyltransferase 2
About this gene: NMT2 encodes one of two N-myristoyltransferase proteins. N-terminal myristoylation is a lipid modification that is involved in regulating the function and localization of signaling proteins. The NMT2 protein catalyzes the addition of a myristoyl group to the N-terminal glycine residue of many signaling proteins, including the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 proteins, Gag and Nef.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9397; HGNC ID: HGNC:7858; UniProt: O60551; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004808.3; Chromosome location: 10p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
