Human NKX2-2 qPCR Primer Set – NK2 homeobox 2
Also known as: NKX2.2, NKX2B
About this gene: The NKX2-2 protein contains a homeobox domain and may be involved in the morphogenesis of the central nervous system. NKX2-2 is found on chromosome 20 near NKX2-4, and these two genes appear to be duplicated on chromosome 14 in the form of TITF1 and NKX2-8. The NKX2-2 protein is likely to be a nuclear transcription factor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4821; HGNC ID: HGNC:7835; UniProt: O95096; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002509.4; Chromosome location: 20p11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
