About this gene: NGF belongs to the NGF-beta family and encodes a secreted protein which homodimerizes and is incorporated into a larger complex. The NGF protein has nerve growth stimulating activity and the complex is involved in the regulation of growth and the differentiation of sympathetic and certain sensory neurons. Mutations in NGF have been linked to hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy, type 5, and dysregulation of NGF's expression is linked to allergic rhinitis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
