SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NFYA (nuclear transcription factor Y subunit alpha, also called NF-YA) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NFYA qPCR Primer Set – nuclear transcription factor Y subunit alpha
Also known as: CBF-A, CBF-B, HAP2, NF-YA
About this gene: The NFYA protein is one subunit of a trimeric complex, forming a highly conserved transcription factor that binds to CCAAT motifs in the promoter regions in a variety of genes. Subunit A associates with a tight dimer composed of the B and C subunits, resulting in a trimer that binds to DNA with high specificity and affinity. The sequence specific interactions of the complex are made by the A subunit, suggesting a role as the regulatory subunit.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4800; HGNC ID: HGNC:7804; UniProt: P23511; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002505.5; Chromosome location: 6p21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
