SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NFX1 (nuclear transcription factor, X-box binding 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NFX1 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear transcription factor, X-box binding 1
Also known as: NFX2, TEG-42, Tex42
About this gene: MHC class II gene expression is controlled primarily at the transcriptional level by transcription factors that bind to the X and Y boxes, two highly conserved elements in the proximal promoter of MHC class II genes. The NFX1 protein is a transcriptional repressor capable of binding to the conserved X box motif of HLA-DRA and other MHC class II genes in vitro. The protein may play a role in regulating the duration of an inflammatory response by limiting the period in which class II MHC molecules are induced by IFN-gamma.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4799; HGNC ID: HGNC:7803; UniProt: Q12986; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002504.6; Chromosome location: 9p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
