About this gene: Iron-sulfur clusters are required for the function of many cellular enzymes. The proteins encoded by NFS1 supply inorganic sulfur to these clusters by removing the sulfur from cysteine, creating alanine in the process. NFS1 uses alternate in-frame translation initiation sites to generate mitochondrial forms and cytoplasmic/nuclear forms.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
