SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NFKBIA (NFKB inhibitor alpha, also called IkB-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NFKBIA qPCR Primer Set – NFKB inhibitor alpha
Also known as: EDAID2, IKBA, MAD-3, NFKBI
About this gene: NFKBIA belongs to the NF-kappa-B inhibitor family, which contain multiple ankrin repeat domains. The NFKBIA protein interacts with REL dimers to inhibit NF-kappa-B/REL complexes which are involved in inflammatory responses. The NFKBIA protein moves between the cytoplasm and the nucleus via a nuclear localization signal and CRM1-mediated nuclear export.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4792; HGNC ID: HGNC:7797; UniProt: P25963; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020529.3; Chromosome location: 14q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
