About this gene: ASPA encodes a enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of N-acetyl_L-aspartic acid to aspartate and acetate. NAA is abundant in the brain where hydrolysis by aspartoacylase is believed to help maintain white matter. The ASPA protein is an NAA scavenger in other tissues.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
