Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NFKB1 (nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1, also called NF-kB p105) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human NFKB1 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1

Also known as: CVID12, EBP-1, KBF1, NF-kB, NF-kB1, NF-kappa-B1, NF-kappaB, NF-kappabeta, NFKB-p105, NFKB-p50, NFkappaB

About this gene: NFKB1 encodes a 105 kD protein which can undergo cotranslational processing by the 26S proteasome to produce a 50 kD protein. The 105 kD protein is a Rel protein-specific transcription inhibitor and the 50 kD protein is a DNA binding subunit of the NF-kappa-B protein complex. NFKB is a transcription regulator that is activated by various intra- and extra-cellular stimuli such as cytokines, oxidant-free radicals, ultraviolet irradiation, and bacterial or viral products.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4790; HGNC ID: HGNC:7794; UniProt: P19838; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003998.4; Chromosome location: 4q24

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
