SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NEUROD2 (neuronal differentiation 2, also called NDRF) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NEUROD2 qPCR Primer Set – neuronal differentiation 2
Also known as: DEE72, EIEE72, NDRF, bHLHa1
About this gene: NEUROD2 belongs to the neuroD family of neurogenic basic helix-loop-helix proteins. Expression of NEUROD2 can induce transcription from neuron-specific promoters, such as the GAP-43 promoter, which contain a specific DNA sequence known as an E-box. The product of the human gene can induce neurogenic differentiation in non-neuronal cells in Xenopus embryos, and is believed to play a role in the determination and maintenance of neuronal cell fates.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4761; HGNC ID: HGNC:7763; UniProt: Q15784; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006160.4; Chromosome location: 17q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
