About this gene: The NEK4 protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase required for normal entry into replicative senescence. The NEK4 protein also is involved in cell cycle arrest in response to double-stranded DNA damage. Finally, this protein is involved in maintaining cilium integrity, and defects in NEK4 have been linked to ciliopathies.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
