SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NDUFV2 (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NDUFV2 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V2
Also known as: CI-24k, MC1DN7
About this gene: The NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex of the mitochondrial respiratory chain catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, and consists of at least 43 subunits. NDUFV2 encodes a 24 kDa subunit of complex I, and is involved in electron transfer. Mutations in NDUFV2 are implicated in Parkinson's disease, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and have been found in one case of early onset hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and encephalopathy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4729; HGNC ID: HGNC:7717; UniProt: P19404; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021074.5; Chromosome location: 18p11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
