SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NDUFV1 (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V1, also called CI-51kD) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NDUFV1 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V1
Also known as: CI-51K, CI51KD, MC1DN4, UQOR1
About this gene: The mitochondrial respiratory chain provides energy to cells via oxidative phosphorylation and consists of four membrane-bound electron-transporting protein complexes and an ATP synthase. NDUFV1 encodes a 51 kDa subunit of the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex I; a large complex with at least 45 nuclear and mitochondrial encoded subunits that liberates electrons from NADH and channels them to ubiquinone. This subunit carries the NADH-binding site as well as flavin mononucleotide- and Fe-S-biding sites.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4723; HGNC ID: HGNC:7716; UniProt: P49821; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007103.4; Chromosome location: 11q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
