SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NDUFA2 (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A2, also called CI-B8) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NDUFA2 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A2
Also known as: B8, CIB8, MC1DN13
About this gene: The NDUFA2 protein is a subunit of the hydrophobic protein fraction of the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase, the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain located in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Mutations in NDUFA2 are linked to Leigh syndrome, an early-onset progressive neurodegenerative disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4695; HGNC ID: HGNC:7685; UniProt: O43678; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002488.5; Chromosome location: 5q31.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
