Human NDUFA1 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A1

Also known as: CI-MWFE, MC1DN12, MWFE, ZNF183

About this gene: The human NDUFA1 gene codes for an essential component of complex I of the respiratory chain, which transfers electrons from NADH to ubiquinone. However, the NDUFA1 peptide is one of about 31 components of the "hydrophobic protein" fraction of complex I which is involved in proton translocation. Thus the NDUFA1 peptide may also participate in that function.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4694; HGNC ID: HGNC:7683; UniProt: O15239; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004541.4; Chromosome location: Xq24

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
