SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NDRG1 (N-myc downstream regulated 1, also called RTP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NDRG1 qPCR Primer Set – N-myc downstream regulated 1
Also known as: CAP43, CMT4D, DRG-1, DRG1, GC4, HMSNL, NDR1, NMSL, PROXY1, RIT42, RTP, TARG1
About this gene: NDRG1 belongs to the N-myc downregulated gene family which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The NDRG1 protein is a cytoplasmic protein involved in stress responses, hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. The NDRG1 protein is necessary for p53-mediated caspase activation and apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10397; HGNC ID: HGNC:7679; UniProt: Q92597; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006096.4; Chromosome location: 8q24.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
