SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ASGR2 (asialoglycoprotein receptor 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ASGR2 qPCR Primer Set – asialoglycoprotein receptor 2
Also known as: ASGP-R2, ASGPR2, CLEC4H2, HBXBP, HL-2
About this gene: ASGR2 encodes a subunit of the asialoglycoprotein receptor. This receptor is a transmembrane protein that plays a critical role in serum glycoprotein homeostasis by mediating the endocytosis and lysosomal degradation of glycoproteins with exposed terminal galactose or N-acetylgalactosamine residues. The asialoglycoprotein receptor may facilitate hepatic infection by multiple viruses including hepatitis B, and is also a target for liver-specific drug delivery.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 433; HGNC ID: HGNC:743; UniProt: P07307; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001201352.2; Chromosome location: 17p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
