SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NCF2 (neutrophil cytosolic factor 2, also called p67-phox) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NCF2 qPCR Primer Set – neutrophil cytosolic factor 2
Also known as: NCF-2, NOXA2, P67-PHOX, P67PHOX
About this gene: NCF2 encodes neutrophil cytosolic factor 2, the 67-kilodalton cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein NADPH oxidase complex found in neutrophils. This oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Mutations in NCF2, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease, a disease that causes recurrent infections by catalase-positive organisms.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4688; HGNC ID: HGNC:7661; UniProt: P19878; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000433.4; Chromosome location: 1q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
