About this gene: Mutations in NBN are linked to Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive chromosomal instability syndrome characterized by microcephaly, growth retardation, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. The NBN protein belongs to the MRE11/RAD50 double-strand break repair complex which consists of 5 proteins. NBN product is believed to be involved in DNA double-strand break repair and DNA damage-induced checkpoint activation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
