SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NAT8 (N-acetyltransferase 8 (putative), also called CCNAT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NAT8 qPCR Primer Set – N-acetyltransferase 8 (putative)
Also known as: ATase2, CCNAT, CML1, GLA, Hcml1, TSC501, TSC510
About this gene: This gene, isolated using the differential display method to detect tissue-specific genes, is specifically expressed in kidney and liver. The NAT8 protein shows amino acid sequence similarity to N-acetyltransferases. A similar protein in Xenopus affects cell adhesion and gastrulation movements, and may be localized in the secretory pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9027; HGNC ID: HGNC:18069; UniProt: Q9UHE5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003960.4; Chromosome location: 2p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
