SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NARS2 (asparaginyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial, also called AsnRS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NARS2 qPCR Primer Set – asparaginyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial
Also known as: DFNB94, SLM5, asnRS
About this gene: NARS2 encodes a putative member of the class II family of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases. These enzymes play a critical role in protein biosynthesis by charging tRNAs with their cognate amino acids. The NARS2 protein is encoded by the nuclear genome but is likely to be imported to the mitochondrion where it is believed to catalyze the ligation of asparagine to tRNA molecules.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79731; HGNC ID: HGNC:26274; UniProt: Q96I59; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024678.6; Chromosome location: 11q14.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
