SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HEMK2 (HemK methyltransferase 2, ETF1 glutamine and histone H4 lysine, also called M.HsaHemK2P) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HEMK2 qPCR Primer Set – HemK methyltransferase 2, ETF1 glutamine and histone H4 lysine
Also known as: C21orf127, KMT9, MTQ2, N6AMT, N6AMT1, PRED28, PrmC, m.HsaHemK2P
About this gene: HEMK2 encodes a N-adenine-specific DNA methyltransferase. The encoded enzyme may be involved in the methylation of release factor I during translation termination. This enzyme is also involved in converting the arsenic metabolite monomethylarsonous acid to the less toxic dimethylarsonic acid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29104; HGNC ID: HGNC:16021; UniProt: Q9Y5N5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013240.6; Chromosome location: 21q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
