SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KAT6B (lysine acetyltransferase 6B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KAT6B qPCR Primer Set – lysine acetyltransferase 6B
Also known as: GTPTS, MORF, MOZ2, MYST4, ZC2HC6B, qkf, querkopf
About this gene: The KAT6B protein is a histone acetyltransferase and component of the MOZ/MORF protein complex. In addition to its acetyltransferase activity, the KAT6B protein has transcriptional activation activity in its N-terminal end and transcriptional repression activity in its C-terminal end. The KAT6B protein is necessary for RUNX2-dependent transcriptional activation and could be involved in brain development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23522; HGNC ID: HGNC:17582; UniProt: Q8WYB5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012330.4; Chromosome location: 10q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
