SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KAT6A (lysine acetyltransferase 6A, also called MOZ) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KAT6A qPCR Primer Set – lysine acetyltransferase 6A
Also known as: ARTHS, MOZ, MRD32, MYST-3, MYST3, RUNXBP2, ZC2HC6A, ZNF220
About this gene: KAT6A belongs to the MOZ, YBFR2, SAS2, TIP60 family of histone acetyltransferases. The protein is composed of a nuclear localization domain, a double C2H2 zinc finger domain that binds to acetylated histone tails, a histone acetyl-transferase domain, a glutamate/aspartate-rich region, and a serine- and methionine-rich transactivation domain. Allelic variants of KAT6A are linked to an autosomal dominant form of cognitive disability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7994; HGNC ID: HGNC:13013; UniProt: Q92794; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006766.5; Chromosome location: 8p11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
