SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KAT8 (lysine acetyltransferase 8, also called hMOF) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KAT8 qPCR Primer Set – lysine acetyltransferase 8
Also known as: LIGOWS, MOF, MYST1, ZC2HC8, hMOF
About this gene: KAT8 belongs to the MYST histone acetylase protein family. The KAT8 protein has a characteristic MYST domain containing an acetyl-CoA-binding site, a chromodomain typical of proteins which bind histones, and a C2HC-type zinc finger.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84148; HGNC ID: HGNC:17933; UniProt: Q9H7Z6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032188.3; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
