SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MYOG (myogenin, also called bHLHc3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MYOG qPCR Primer Set – myogenin
Also known as: MYF4, bHLHc3, myf-4
About this gene: Myogenin is a muscle-specific transcription factor that can induce myogenesis in a variety of cell types in tissue culture. The MYOG gene product belongs to a large family of proteins related by sequence homology, the helix-loop-helix proteins. The MYOG gene product is essential for the development of functional skeletal muscle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4656; HGNC ID: HGNC:7612; UniProt: P15173; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002479.6; Chromosome location: 1q32.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
