SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MYOD1 (myogenic differentiation 1, also called bHLHc1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MYOD1 qPCR Primer Set – myogenic differentiation 1
Also known as: CMYO17, CMYP17, MYF3, MYOD, MYODRIF, PUM, bHLHc1
About this gene: MYOD1 encodes a nuclear protein that belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix family of transcription factors and the myogenic factors subfamily. The MYOD1 gene product regulates muscle cell differentiation by inducing cell cycle arrest, a prerequisite for myogenic initiation. The protein is also involved in muscle regeneration.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4654; HGNC ID: HGNC:7611; UniProt: P15172; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002478.5; Chromosome location: 11p15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
