SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MYO5A (myosin VA, also called Myoxin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MYO5A qPCR Primer Set – myosin VA
Also known as: GS1, MYH12, MYO5, MYR12
About this gene: MYO5A is one of three myosin V heavy-chain genes, belonging to the myosin gene superfamily. Myosin V is a class of actin-based motor proteins involved in cytoplasmic vesicle transport and anchorage, spindle-pole alignment and mRNA translocation. The MYO5A protein is abundant in melanocytes and nerve cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4644; HGNC ID: HGNC:7602; UniProt: Q9Y4I1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001382347.1; Chromosome location: 15q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
