About this gene: MYL2 encodes a major sarcomeric protein in mammalian striated muscle. The MYL2 protein is involved in embryonic heart muscle structure and function, while phosphorylation of the MYL2 protein is involved in cardiac myosin cycling kinetics, torsion and function in adults. Mutations in MYL2 are linked to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy 10 and infant-onset myopathy.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
