SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MYH1 (myosin heavy chain 1, also called MyHC-2x) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MYH1 qPCR Primer Set – myosin heavy chain 1
Also known as: HEL71, MYHSA1, MYHa, MyHC-2X/D, MyHC-2x
About this gene: Myosin is a major contractile protein which converts chemical energy into mechanical energy through the hydrolysis of ATP. Myosin is a hexameric protein composed of a pair of myosin heavy chains and two pairs of nonidentical light chains. Myosin heavy chains are encoded by a multigene family. In mammals at least 10 different myosin heavy chain isoforms have been described from striated, smooth, and nonmuscle cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4619; HGNC ID: HGNC:7567; UniProt: P12882; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005963.4; Chromosome location: 17p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
