About this gene: MYBPC1 belongs to the myosin-binding protein C family. Myosin-binding protein C family members are myosin-associated proteins found in the cross-bridge-bearing zone of A bands in striated muscle. The MYBPC1 protein is the slow skeletal muscle isoform of myosin-binding protein C and is important for muscle contraction by recruiting muscle-type creatine kinase to myosin filaments.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
