SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MXI1 (MAX interactor 1, dimerization protein, also called bHLHc11) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MXI1 qPCR Primer Set – MAX interactor 1, dimerization protein
Also known as: MAD2, MXD2, MXI, bHLHc11
About this gene: Expression of the c-myc gene, which produces an oncogenic transcription factor, is tightly regulated in normal cells but is frequently deregulated in human cancers. The MXI1 protein is a transcriptional repressor thought to negatively regulate MYC function, and is therefore a potential tumor suppressor. The MXI1 protein inhibits the transcriptional activity of MYC by competing for MAX, another basic helix-loop-helix protein that binds to MYC and is required for its function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4601; HGNC ID: HGNC:7534; UniProt: P50539; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_130439.3; Chromosome location: 10q25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
