SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MX2 (MX dynamin like GTPase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MX2 qPCR Primer Set – MX dynamin like GTPase 2
Also known as: MXB
About this gene: The MX2 protein has a nuclear and a cytoplasmic form and belongs to both the dynamin family and the family of large GTPases. The nuclear form is localized in a granular pattern in the heterochromatin region beneath the nuclear envelope. A nuclear localization signal is present at the amino terminal end of the nuclear form but is lacking in the cytoplasmic form due to use of an alternate translation start codon.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4600; HGNC ID: HGNC:7533; UniProt: P20592; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002463.2; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
