Human MUS81 qPCR Primer Set – MUS81 structure-specific endonuclease subunit
Also known as: SLX3
About this gene: MUS81 encodes a structure-specific endonuclease which belongs to the XPF/MUS81 endonuclease family and plays a critical role in the resolution of recombination intermediates during DNA repair after inter-strand cross-links, replication fork collapse, and DNA double-strand breaks. The MUS81 protein associates with one of two closely related essential meiotic endonuclease proteins to form a complex that processes DNA secondary structures. The MUS81 gene product contains an N-terminal DEAH helicase domain, an excision repair cross complementation group 4 endonuclease domain, and two tandem C-terminal helix-hairpin-helix domains.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80198; HGNC ID: HGNC:29814; UniProt: Q96NY9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_025128.5; Chromosome location: 11q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
