SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MTPAP (mitochondrial poly(A) polymerase, also called PAP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MTPAP qPCR Primer Set – mitochondrial poly(A) polymerase
Also known as: PAPD1, SPAX4, TENT6
About this gene: The MTPAP protein belongs to the DNA polymerase type-B-like family. This enzyme synthesizes the 3' poly tail of mitochondrial transcripts and is involved in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55149; HGNC ID: HGNC:25532; UniProt: Q9NVV4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018109.4; Chromosome location: 10p11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
