SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MTO1 (mitochondrial tRNA translation optimization 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MTO1 qPCR Primer Set – mitochondrial tRNA translation optimization 1
Also known as: CGI-02, COXPD10
About this gene: MTO1 encodes a mitochondrial protein thought to be involved in mitochondrial tRNA modification. The MTO1 protein may also play a role in the expression of the non-syndromic and aminoglycoside-induced deafness phenotypes linked to a specific mutation in the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25821; HGNC ID: HGNC:19261; UniProt: Q9Y2Z2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012123.4; Chromosome location: 6q13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
