Human MTMR9 qPCR Primer Set – myotubularin related protein 9
Also known as: C8orf9, LIP-STYX, MTMR8
About this gene: MTMR9 encodes a myotubularin-related protein that is atypical to most other members of the myotubularin-related protein family because it has no dual-specificity phosphatase domain. The MTMR9 protein contains a double-helical motif similar to the SET interaction domain, which is believed to have a role in the control of cell proliferation. In mouse, a protein similar to the MTMR9 protein binds with MTMR7, and together they dephosphorylate phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate and inositol 1,3-bisphosphate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 66036; HGNC ID: HGNC:14596; UniProt: Q96QG7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015458.4; Chromosome location: 8p23.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
