SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MTM1 (myotubularin 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MTM1 qPCR Primer Set – myotubularin 1
Also known as: CNM, CNMX, MTMX, XLMTM
About this gene: MTM1 encodes a dual-specificity phosphatase that acts on both phosphotyrosine and phosphoserine. The MTM1 gene product is required for muscle cell differentiation and mutations in MTM1 have been identified as being responsible for X-linked myotubular myopathy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4534; HGNC ID: HGNC:7448; UniProt: Q13496; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000252.3; Chromosome location: Xq28
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
